This Privacy Policy explains how Playbook MPR and COTMM ("Cut Out The Middle Man") ("we", "us", "our") collects, uses, and protects information when you use our tools and dashboards connected to platforms such as Instagram, Facebook and Threads.

By using COTMM, you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this Policy.

1. Who we are

COTMM is a tool used to analyse and manage social media content and performance for creators and businesses.

2. Information we collect

When you connect your social media accounts (for example via Facebook Login / Instagram Graph API), we may receive:

• Account information – name, username, profile picture, page name and IDs.
• Content & insights – posts, captions, comments, media metadata, engagement metrics and other analytics that the platform's API makes available.
• Technical information – access tokens and related authentication data, basic usage logs such as request time, browser type and IP address (for security and debugging).

We do not receive your social media passwords.

3. How we use your information

We use the information we collect to:

• Provide the COTMM dashboard and related services
• Fetch and analyse your posts and insights to generate reports, suggestions and automation
• Maintain and secure the service (debugging, monitoring, preventing abuse)
• Communicate with you about updates, issues or support requests

We do not sell your personal data to third parties.

4. Legal basis (for UK / EU users)

Where applicable (e.g. under UK GDPR), we process your data based on:

• Performance of a contract – to provide the service you requested.
• Legitimate interests – to maintain and improve our tools and protect against misuse.

You can revoke access at any time by disconnecting COTMM's permissions in your Facebook / Instagram settings.

We do not share your data with third parties for their own marketing purposes.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top indicates the latest version. Continued use of COTMM after changes means you accept the updated Policy.
